Final Transnational Project Meeting of Food4Thought | 29th - 30th of May 2025
Project Partners Gather to Reflect, Conclude, and Plan for Sustainability
On May 29–30, 2025, Braga became the hub of final reflections and strategic planning as AJEA hosted the last Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) of the Erasmus+ project Food4Thought. This key event brought together project managers and representatives from all six partner organizations (Portugal, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Cyprus, and Croatia) to assess progress, discuss results, and lay the groundwork for the final stages and sustainability of the project.
Â
The TPM was organized around the International Conference “The Importance of Urban Agriculture in Achieving SDGs”, giving partners the chance to present their national achievements and engage with a broader audience of youth workers, stakeholders, and community members.
Â
During the two-day meeting, the team conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the project, reflecting on its milestones, from the development of the digital platform and the open learning environment, to the successful workshops and blended mobility. Each partner reviewed their contribution to WP4, and final administrative details such as timesheets, final reporting, and documentation were discussed to ensure a smooth closing phase. Throughout the meeting, partners engaged in constructive discussions on how to ensure the project’s long-term impact and visibility. Mundus Bulgaria shared a practical and forward-thinking sustainability plan, designed to keep the Food4Thought results alive and relevant after the project’s completion.
Â
To support final dissemination efforts, CEFAS Italy presented a comprehensive set of materials to be used during the EU-level conferences in each partner country, including templates and guidelines to ensure a consistent message across borders. In preparation for the closing stages, the team also collaboratively outlined the evaluation strategy for the training programme, focusing on how to best capture the learning outcomes and feedback from the youth and youth workers who participated in the project’s educational activities.
Â
The meeting concluded with space for final questions, clarifications, and a heartfelt acknowledgment of the collaborative journey shared over the past two years. As the Food4Thought project approaches its conclusion, the final TPM in Braga stood as a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through shared vision, youth empowerment, and cross-border cooperation. Together, the partners reaffirmed their commitment to promoting urban agriculture, sustainability, and active citizenship across Europe.
